Vijaya Bank is one of the leading public sector banks. It is a nationalized Bank with one of the highest business, productivity and high level of profits. It is one of the most trusted banks in whole of India. Every year thisbank hires people for the post of Probationary Officer.
The application for the post of Bank PO has to be in the prescribed order as maintained by the Syndicate Bank. Any violation of the format will lead to non acceptance of the forms.
The total number of seats available for the post of PO is 82. it varies from year to year. The criteria are that one must be a citizen of India or Bhutan or Nepal or a Tibetan refugee who had settled in India before 1962 to be eligible forthe post . Other criteria’s are also there. One must be a degree holder from a recognized University. Computer literate people are more preferable. The minimum and maximum age limits are 21 years and 30 years respectively.
The candidates are selected through written tests. The written tests comprises of both objective and descriptive ones. The objective tests are a total of 300 marks and the duration of the test is 150 minutes. The test comprises of Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness on socio economic developments and test of English language. The descriptive tests are a total of 100 marks and 60 minutes duration. This is only a qualifying test.
